Illinois Fighting Illini football coach Tim Beckman received some harsh criticism from former Illinois offensive guard Simon Cvijanovic.
Cvijanovic discussed what he believed to be mistreatment from the team’s coaching staff, before injuring his shoulder and eventually quitting the team last season.
Shortly after the allegations were put out on social media, Beckman and the university issued a statement as a response.

It is going to be interesting to keep an eye on Simon Cvijanovic’s social media account.
If he continues to tell stories of being forced to play through pain during his career, the NCAA may eventually have to step in to do some investigating.
