After plenty of speculation, former Duke Blue Devils guard Rasheed Sulaimon has officially announced that he will be joining the Maryland Terrapins.
“They have a chance to be a special team,” he told ESPN.com. “They are great guys off the court, and they embraced me. At the end of the day, I wanted to go somewhere to have the opportunity to be part of something bigger than myself.”
While Sulaimon has struggled to find his way over the past two seasons, he will still be a valuable asset to the Terrapins roster.
Maryland is already loaded with talent and could find themselves as the No. 1 team in the nation when preseason polls are released.
