Ole Miss WR Laquon Treadwell expected healthy by fall

There is some good news for fans of the Ole Miss Rebels football team.

After suffering a gruesome injury (dislocated ankle and broken fibula) last season, highly-touted wide receiver Laquon Treadwell is still on track to be 100 percent by the start of the season.

Ole Miss head coach Hugh Freeze passed along the news during a conference call on Tuesday morning, per College Football Talk.

Hugh Freeze previously said that Treadwell would be healthy for the start of the summer. It’s a positive sign to see that Treadwell does not appear to have suffered any setbacks.

Treadwell was starting to find his groove in the Ole Miss offense prior to the injury and there are high hopes that he will be able to return to top form following the injury.
