The ACC-Big Ten Challenge pairings were announced on Wednesday, including North Carolina versus Maryland.

ACC/Big Ten challenge pairings have been announced

The ACC and Big Ten are expected to be the two strongest conferences in college basketball next season and they will once again have a non-conference battle to create marquee match-ups for their resumes.

The pairings were announced Wednesday with two very high-profile showdowns at the very least, Maryland at North Carolina (two preseason top five schools) and Indiana at Duke.

Other key match-ups include Michigan at North Carolina State, Virginia at Ohio State, Louisville at Michigan State, and Notre Dame at Illinois.

All the games will be broadcasted on the ESPN family of networks from November 30, 2015 to December 2, 2015 (these games might gain a few viewers).

Georgia Tech is the only ACC team that will not compete in the non-conference challenge.
