Those wishing for the Miami Hurricanes football team to get back to glory could soon be getting their wish. Per Bleacher Report’s Tyler Donahue, the university has received a commitment from athlete Jalen Patterson, of the class of 2018.

The 5’10”, 170 pound Patterson was also considering West Virginia, Mississippi State and Oregon State, among other schools. With his commitment, The U now has the No. 3 class for 2016, the No. 2 one for 2017 and the top class for 2018, per 247Sports.
In its fourth season under head coach Al Golden, Miami went 6-7 (3-5 ACC) and lost to South Carolina in the Duck Commander Independence Bowl in 2014. The team has gone 28-22 (16-16 ACC) since his arrival from Temple in 2011.
