Despite being on the smaller side at 5’10”, 175 pounds, Rowsey managed to be one of the Big South’s top scoring threats. In his two seasons with the Bulldogs, he averaged 19.8 points per game while shooting 41 percent from the field and 39 percent from three-point land. He will now sit out the upcoming season before having two seasons of eligibility remaining once he suits up for the Golden Eagles.

UNC Asheville went 32-31 (20-14 Big South) in Rowsey’s two seasons, and now the young man from Lexington, Virginia will be tasked with helping turn around a Marquette squad that went 13-19 (4-14 Big East) and finished dead last in the Big East in its first year under head coach Steve Wojciechowski.
