Video captures blooper reel of Mites on Ice intermission play

Anyone who has ever been to a professional hockey game will tell you: The best part of intermission entertainment is when the peewee hockey players take the ice.

Whether they can stay on their skates or not.

So three cheers to BroBible for snagging the video from Monumental Network that captures the younguns that skated during intermissions at the Washington Capitals games.

The tikes striding across the ice in too-big-helmets is adorable enough. Watching them bellyflop after trying to celebrate a goal scored is even better.

Sure, we teach our children not to laugh when others fall down. But there is something so purely amazing about the Mites on Ice “competitors” falling down on their keesters in as they try to check each other.

All NHLers got their start somewhere. You have to figure at least half other were tripping over their own skates in the beginning like these guys, right?
