Carson Fulmer of Vandy named SEC Pitcher of the Year

Carson Fulmer junior out of Vanderbilt adds SEC Pitcher of the Year to his list of accolades. Carson Fulmer is the third SEC pitcher of the year to come from the program; this award comes after an epic season where he led the the SEC in wins (11), ERA (1.55), and strikeouts (132).

In addition to SEC Pitcher of the Year, Fulmer is also apart of the All-SEC first team and All-Defensive team along with five of his other Commodores being honored.

Junior Shortstop Dansby Swanson was named to the second team. Third baseman Will Toffey, outfielder Jeren Kendall and pitcher Kyle Wright were added to the Freshman All-SEC team.

Carson Fulmer joins David Price (2007) and Grayson Garvin (2011) as SEC Pitcher of the Years produced by the Commodores.
