Ever wonder what it feels like to know that you will be lining up across the field from a high school teammate at the college level? Well three star defensive Traveon Beck will know that exact feeling come 2016 when straps on his helmet to take the field for Cal-Berkeley.
Beck’s high school teammate, running back Sean McGrew, committed to rival Washington just moments before he picked up the Golden Bears hat.
Brandon Huffman broke the news via Twitter.

Beck told Scout Recruiting: “I almost wanted to commit right on the spot. Cal is a school I’ve always loved growing up, I always wanted to be a Bear. I had a great talk on the phone with Coach Burns, the DB coach and can’t wait to play for him. I talked to two other coaches that day but honestly, my head was spinning so much, I don’t even remember who it was.”
