Missouri Tigers defensive end Marcus Loud has been dismissed from the program for what is being called a “violation of team policies.” David Morrison of the Columbia Daily Tribune broke the news.

A former three-star recruit out of Wheatley High School, in Houston, Loud appeared in 14 games for the Tigers last season. He registered 14 tackles, one of which was for a loss, and half a sack. At 6’4″, 270 pounds, he was anticipated to be a key contributor on defense this coming season.

Missouri will open the 2015 season at home on September 5 against Southeast Missouri State.
