UNC’s Brice Johnson Pranks Teammates With Fake Snake

“Snakes…why did it have to be snakes?”

That line from cinematic classic Raiders of the Lost Ark rang true in Chapel Hill recently, as Tar Heels forward Brice Johnson managed to get a very real-looking rubber snake into the team’s locker room. Of course, hilarity ensued.

Bleacher Report’s Kyle Newport reported the pranking, which Johnson posted both on his Instagram and then his Twitter. His two victims of choice are rising senior point guard Marcus Paige and rising sophomore Joel Berry.

Looking at both guys getting pranked, it’s near-impossible NOT to laugh.

As someone who loves pranks (Roommates, if you’re reading this, watch out!), this tickles me to no end. I’ve broken out the rubber snake prank many a time over the course of my life, and the result never gets old. To see UNC players do this to each other is not only a testament to how real they are off the court, but how well they work together as a team.

After all, the Tar Heels went 26-12 (11-7 ACC) and nearly upset Wisconsin in the Sweet Sixteen this past season.

Hopefully, this is only the first of many pranks that Johnson shares with the world.
