Chicago Blackhawk Andrew Shaw might have inadvertently created a new drinking game.
A video is making the rounds on the interwebs this morning of the hockey forward head-butting the puck into the Anaheim Ducks net in double overtime.

Of course the goal was disallowed — because apparently 2OT just didn’t make for a long enough game — and Chicago would have to score a goal the old-fashioned way to finally down the Ducks 3-2.
But that hasn’t stopped the highlight reel worthy clip from stealing the show.
We should say “Don’t try that at home.” But we have a feeling many a hockey fan across the continent might turn this into a sport. Can’t you see frat initiations featuring puck head-butting contests inspired by Shaw? Something involving having to take a shot of Fireball for every goal your opponent scores off his noggin?
(No, it is absolutely not a safe idea, but it is totally possible.)
