Following a tenth place finish in the ACC, things have gotten much more difficult for the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets next season. All-ACC Guard Kaela Davis is transferring after two years with the school.
Davis is the highest rated recruit the Yellow Jackets have ever signed to the program, and their inability to win has cost them.
Davis posted to her Instagram about leaving the University and the program:
“I’m a competitor at my core…it’s who I am..and at every level of basketball career thus far…that competitiveness has allowed me to not only compete at the highest level..but WIN at the highest level. I want to compete for a National Championship”

While the two sides have “mutually” agreed to the transfer, the Georgia Tech program may be devastated by this. Davis averaged 19.2 points and 5.4 rebounds per contest last season and is a career 78 percent free throw shooter.
