Navy’s Ken Niumatalolo Barrell Rolls With Blue Angels

A common fear among the masses is that of flying. Be it because of claustrophobia or other reasons, it’s just something that freaks people out. U.S. Naval Academy head football coach Ken Niumatalolo, on the other hand, is not one of those people.

Apparently, back in the summer of 2010, Niumatalolo had the opportunity to fly with the legendary Blue Angels. Sure enough, he jumped at the opportunity and handled some barrel rolls like a champ!

Some would say that the mark of a strong football team is a strong coach, and Niumatalolo is clearly that based on how well he handled his flight. Hopefully, people can see this video and be inspired to overcome their own anxieties about flying and take a step forward in overcoming them.

Niumatalolo has led the Midshipmen to a 57-35 record in seven-plus seasons as head coach. The team opens the 2015 campaign, its first in the American Athletic Conference, in Annapolis against Colgate on September 5.
