Everything is bigger in Texas, and the University of Texas just added some beef for their offensive line for the 2016 season.
3-star recruit Tope Imade, an Arlington, TX native who holds his high school record with a 515 pound deadlift, recently committed to play interior guard for the Longhorns.

While he generated interest from several major programs including Michigan, Oklahoma, and another local school Texas A&M, Imade had strongly been leaning towards the Longhorns from the beginning of the recruitment process.
While not a splashy signing in terms of being projected as an impact freshman, Imade was ranked 44th at his position by 247 Sports. His slim frame has plenty of room to fill out (6’4, 320 lbs.) and his still developing strength leave plenty of room to grow into a good, strong offensive guard for the Longhorns.
With the addition of Imade, UT’s recruiting class has been ranked number 42 in the country by 247 sports as the Longhorns look to get back into the elite echelon of college football programs.
