One of the biggest questions leading up to the 2015 college football season is: who will start at quarterback for the defending national champion Ohio State Buckeyes.
Prior to last season’s title run, Braxton Miller suffered an injury that paved the way for J.T. Barrett to have his opportunity to shine.
Barrett did a very good job leading the Ohio State offense, before suffering an injury of his own down the final stretch of the season. That opened the door for Cardale Jones, who went on to defeat the Wisconsin Badgers, Alabama Crimson Tide and Oregon Ducks in the final three games of the season.
Jones had as impressive of a three-game stretch as any quarterback in recent memory.
However, all three quarterbacks are returning, and the starting job remains up in the air.
While many would believe Jones has the best chance to lead the first-team offense onto the field for the season-opener, it would appear that the oddsmakers are favoring Barrett.
It is very interesting to see Barrett ahead in the race, but there is still plenty of time for a decision to be made and for the lines to shift.
