4-Star Malik Miller Between Auburn and Florida St.

To say Auburn’s Big Cat Weekend was a success is beginning to look like an understatement. After landing a couple of name recruits for the future, the attention turns to 4-star running back Malik Miller.

Presently, Miller has offers from Auburn, Florida State, Alabama, Mississippi State, Georgia, Ole Miss, and Vanderbilt.

However, when Miller spoke with Auburn sports he said, “It’s just Florida State and Auburn, really, I want to go to Florida State next weekend and talk to the coaches and get all my questions answered.”

The number eight overall prospect from the state of Alabama (according to Rivals) makes sense to remain close to home at Auburn. As of now, things may be headed that way.

According to Miller, Auburn has done the best job recruiting him thus far. However, when talking with Auburn Sports about the future, “My goal is to sign a multi-million dollar contract in five years,” Miller said, via AuburnSports.com. “I’ve disciplined myself. I’ve trained myself. I’ve grown up with that pro mentality on and off the field. I want to go to the place that I feel will give me the best opportunity to fulfill that goal.”

Miller is listed as a running back, but will most likely be played as a full back in college. He has shown exceptional strength in his running, but lacks the top end speed of a Division I running back.

Nevertheless, both Auburn and Florida State would find Miller as a crucial acquisition for the their respective futures.
