Former Alabama QB Blake Sims Really Misses Football

The college football season ended five months ago and it is very likely that many graduating seniors really miss their alma maters. That is unsurprisingly the case with former Alabama quarterback Blake Sims. Sims became the starting quarterback for the Crimson Tide in the summer of last year and now misses the team and college football in general.

Fans can only imaging how hard it must be for Sims or any other college athlete who has graduated and will never get the chance to play for the school again. Luckily for Sims, he has the chance to continue his football career.

After going undrafted in the 2015 NFL Draft and having unsuccessful tryouts with the Green Bay Packers and Washington Redskins as a running back, Sims was signed to a contract with the CFL’s Toronto Argonauts. After spending time with Alabama as a running back and then their quarterback, it is unclear whether he will be under center for the Argonauts this season.

One thing is very clear right now however. As much as Blake Sims misses Alabama football, Alabama football sure does miss him.
