Texas president favors beer sales at football games

The University of Texas has a new president in Greg Fenves and he could be bringing alcohol sales to football games. The goal is to enhance the fan experience at the games.

Fenves’ first day on the job was Wednesday, and he said previous alcohol sales at campus functions and sporting events have been studied. According to FOX Sports, Fenves said there are no enhanced security risks.

Last year, Texas began selling alcohol at other sporting events on campus.

If the Longhorns begin selling alcohol at the games, it could become a much more intense and exciting atmosphere for everyone in attendance.
