In honor of this evening’s race, we bring you the recipe for the Belmont Stake’s official cocktail – the Belmont Jewel. Crafted by master mixologist, Drew Revella, the Belmont Jewel is sure to wet your whistle in preparation for the big event.
Made of 1.5 oz of Woodford Reserve Kentucky Bourbon, 2 oz lemonade, and 1 oz pomegranate juice, this Jewel’s tasty flavor will have you rearing to go and ready for some action.

- 1.5 ounces of bourbon (Belmont uses Knob Creek)
2 ounces of lemonade
1 ounce pomegranate juice
Shake vigorously with ice and serve in a rocks glass over ice. Garnish with a lemon twist or red cherry.
