It looks like the Florida State Seminoles will continue to have the best field goal kicker in college football in 2016. The Seminoles just landed a commitment from the number one kicker in the country, Logan Tyler.
Tyler announced that he would be playing for the Seminoles in 2016. Tyler, who is number one in some rankings, made the announcement via Twitter.
Tyler will certainly have some big shoes to fill in 2016 as he will have to split time with rising junior Roberto Aguayo. Aguayo is a two-time Lou Groza Award finalist and he won the award during his freshman year. Tyler will debut during Aguayo’s redshirt senior season, but Aguayo will be eligible for the Draft after 2015, so there is a possibility that Tyler will be the starter when he gets to Tallahassee.
If you aren’t too sure about Tyler’s ability to replace Aguayo, here he is kicking a 75-yard field goal. Thanks to College Spun and Kohl’s Kicking for the clip.
I think Tyler will do just fine for the Seminoles.
