It looks as though the Ohio State Buckeyes could be in for another fantastic season in 2016. 2015 is already going to be a terrific season for the defending national champions as they return three legitimate starting quarterbacks, the early favorite for the Heisman Trophy, and most of their defense.
The Buckeyes now have the number one recruiting class for 2016 when it comes to Scout. A commitment from Austin Mack pushed the Buckeyes back into the number one spot over Florida State.
The Buckeyes are still ranked number three Rivals, behind the Seminoles and Miami, but they have the highest average star ranking with 3.93. They also have the highest number of four star commits with twelve. On 247sports, the Buckeyes have the number two class, trailing the Seminoles by just 1.61 points.
No matter where the Buckeyes’ recruiting class for 2016 is ranked, it’s safe to say that this could easily be Urban Meyer’s greatest team ever.
