You have to appreciate school pride.
Part of what makes the college game so great is the fact that there is that extra sense of motivation and pride for the athletes. In fact, that love for your school seems to stick with athletes long after their college playing days are over.
Some Florida Gators greats put that on display over the weekend.
During a memorial ceremony for former Florida head coach and athletic director Ray Graves, a number of former Gators players and coaches showed up. Steve Spurrier was among the alumni in attendance.
One of the greatest moments came when they all got together to sing the famous pep song, “We Are The Boys From Old Florida.”
