Photo: N.C. State adds Russell Wilson jersey to facility

While Russell Wilson finished his college football career with the Wisconsin Badgers rather than the North Carolina State Wolfpack, he remains one of the best players to ever come through the N.C. State program.

In order to honor the former Wolfpack star who is now a Super Bowl champion with the Seattle Seahawks, North Carolina State has added a display which features Wilson’s jersey in the lobby of  the Wendell H. Murphy Football Center on campus.

Wilson finished his Wolfpack career with 8,545 yards passing, 76 touchdowns and 26 interceptions. On the ground, Wilson added 363 yards and another 17 scores.

It’s great to see the Wolfpack honoring one of the most talented players to ever come through the program.
