Video: 7-foot-3 middle school hoops star has mad dunk skills

Being too tall for your age never looked so good.

At least, that’s true in the case of 7-foot-3 eigth grader Chol Marial — a middle schooler with more game than some guys with actual NBA contracts.

USA Today’s FTW posted a jaw-dropping ode to the Sudan product on Tuesday morning, complete with highlight reel chronicling Marial’s superior dunk skills. Mostly because there are a lot of dunk highlights, which you would expect from anyone over seven-feet tall.

Our favorite highlight though? Check out the highlight video about 30-seconds in when he nabs the rebound of a West Oaks High School teammate’s shot and bats the ball in with one hand.

Must be nice having that extra height on your team.

Here’s to hoping that Chol Marial’s hoops career is only beginning and that his ball-handling repertoire continues to grow. Besides, there’s no way he could get any taller, right?
