Marshawn Lynch to play villain in Black Ops

The world of gaming changed forever in 2003 when the video game Call of Duty (COD) was introduced. In 2010, the spin off, Black Ops, was introduced, and now another sequel has been born.

COD Black Ops III will hit shelves November of this year and there will be an exciting new character.

NFL  running back Marshawn Lynch is set to play a villain, portraying his beast mode characteristics as he does on the field with the Seattle Seahawks. Lynch becomes the first athlete to appear in the popular series.

“I’ve been in the Super Bowl, movies, music videos, Madden. But to have your own character in Duty is, I mean, it’s almost like you arrived,” Lynch said, via ESPN.

Lynch went in for an eight hour work day where he handled  a one man show.  It is cool seeing a guy who was once a fan of COD actually becoming a character. Come November, every gamer will be able to experience Beast Mode.
