QB recruit Jake Allen tweets about ‘Dream Offer’ from Florida

2017 QB recruit Jake Allen has received offers from schools including NC State, Cincinnati, Miami and Colorado State.

Allen told 247 Sports he has been favoring Florida since April, but hadn’t heard anything from them from until today. Allen tweeted earlier today he acquired his “dream offer” from the Gators.

Although he hasn’t announced what school he plans to attend, one can speculate that Florida is the front-runner from the excitement in his tweet.

Blessed to have received my dream offer from The University of Florida! #Gators #ChompChomp 🐊 pic.twitter.com/8N8Y6VR3h5

I couldn't have done it without my personal QB coach @EricKresser . Been with him since the 6th grade! Love ya coach.

Allen is listed as a 6-foot-3, 191 pounds pro-style quarterback. Allen is out Fort Lauderdale, Florida and St. Thomas Aquinas.

Ncsasports.com has Allen as a three-year starter in high school as well as setting every passing record for his high school in 2013. He also led his team to third place in states that same year. He may not be the most touted recruit, but from what is written in his personal statement on NCSA, he seems to be a smart kid who’s willing to work hard no matter what his role is.
