Freshman safety Derwin James was a stand out name for the Florida State Seminoles recruiting class, as he helps guarantee a strong secondary.
Although he has only been on campus for a few months, James is already garnering the nation’s attention. A number of people questioned if the top safety recruit in the nation would be ready for the season, however, after a full spring semester he should mentally be ready and physically… well, just take a look.

While his vertical makes you believe he should be competing with basketball players, there is no doubt that most offenses will think twice about testing him over the middle.
