Urban Meyer made woman do push-ups for wearing blue

There are coaches who take their job way too seriously, never like to joke around or just flat out never smile. Take New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick as an example. Have you ever seen this guy even grin?

Then there are coaches like Urban Meyer, who are fun-loving and are exactly what you are looking for in a coach. Well, when it comes to the Ohio State-Michigan rivalry, that is exactly what Meyer is.

Ohio State held a Women’s Football Clinic on Sunday and Meyer had two rules. 1. Don’t say the “M” word where he can hear and 2. Don’t wear blue.

Well, someone made that mistake before he could even get off stage and was wearing a blue tanktop. So he treated her like one of his own players and had her do ten push-ups in exchange for a new Ohio State shirt to wear instead.

Of course, this was all in good taste and it shows that Coach Meyer really does appreciate the history of the rivalry the Buckeyes and Wolverines have. It also shows that if Coach Meyer says not to do something, you don’t do it.
