The new craze that has swept the sporting world over the last few years is the elevation masks that athletes will wear while they are going throughout their daily lives. These masks give you the sensation of being in a heightened altitude and makes it difficult to breathe, which will in turn strengthens your lungs when not wearing the mask.
TCU quarterback Trevone Boykin takes his training very seriously. He even drives around while wearing the Bane-like mask. The Heisman Trophy contender shared a video of himself in his car with the mask on.
I can almost hear Boykin quoting the enemy of Batman by saying, “No one cared who I was until I put the mask on.” That’s not exactly true for Boykin, though, considering he’s one of the best quarterbacks to take the field for TCU in a long time.
Boykin helped lead the Horned Frogs to a 12-1 record with a 42-3 victory over Ole Miss in the Peach Bowl. He was a contender for the Heisman Trophy while throwing for 3.901 yards and thirty-three touchdowns against only ten interceptions.
