The Rutgers Scarlet Knights are reportedly planning some major upgrades to the athletic facilities, including renovations to High Point Solutions Stadium.
On Thursday, the university released a marketing deck that details all of the upgrades they plan to make in order to get their facilities up to par with the rest of the schools in the Big Ten.
One of the biggest changes will directly impact the football team.
On top of having a football only facility, the press box at High Point Solutions Stadium would become larger in order to handle some larger media presences that will come with visiting Big Ten programs.
There will also be additional practice fields and the fans will benefit from new restrooms and an elevator tower.
Rutgers will be receiving a larger chunk of revenue as a member of the Big Ten compared to when they were in the Big East, so it is great to see they are planning the upgrades which will keep their facilities up to par with the other members of their new conference.
