Four-star shooting guard Maverick Rowan, out of Cardinal Gibbons High School in Fort Lauderdale, is in the process of reclassifying to the Class of 2015. Evan Daniels of Scout.com reported the update.
Standing 6-foot-6, 190 pounds, Rowan can play both shooting guard and small forward and has excellent three-point shooting abilities. He had previously committed to Pittsburgh before reopening his recruitment.
Earlier this month, he released his final six choices of schools on his personal Twitter page. Those programs were UCLA, N.C. State, St. John’s, Wisconsin, Louisville and UNC.
Rowan has since taken official visits to Louisville and St. John’s, not to mention allegedly cut his list to four, but he has yet to make it public. Either way, now that he’s reclassifying to the Class of 2015, whichever program lands him will have a HUGE get for the upcoming season.
Campus Sports will update Rowan’s decision as more information becomes available.
