Of great size at 6-foot-7, 230 pounds, Angeline had also drawn interest from a great number of schools including Alabama, Boston College, Auburn, Florida, Michigan, Notre Dame and Ohio State, among others. He is the 12th commitment of the Trojans’ 2016 recruiting class and his size will make USC’s offense a force to be reckoned with in the Pac-12.
USC went 9-4 (6-3 Pac-12) in its first season under Steve Sarkisian and defeated Nebraska in the Holiday Bowl.
The Trojans open 2015 at home against the Sun Belt’s Arkansas State Red Wolves on September 5.
