Three Duke basketball players were drafted in the first round of Thursday night’s NBA Draft and the Blue Devils could not be more happy for them. They also know that even though their college careers are over, they will always be a part of the Duke family.
Jahlil Okafor and Justise Winslow both were drafted as lottery picks in Thursday’s draft, while Tyus Jones was drafted later in the first round.
Duke released three graphics featuring each player wearing a combination jersey of Duke and the team that drafted him. College Spun shared those graphics.

Okafor was taken third overall to the Philadelphia 76ers, Winslow was taken ninth overall by the Miami Heat and Tyus Jones was taken twenty-fourth overall by the Cleveland Cavaliers, but was traded to his hometown team, the Minnesota Timberwolves.
All three of these guy will come into the NBA and immediately make a huge impact for their teams.
These three just need to remember who gave them their shot in college, but I don’t think that would really be a problem. It would be kind of hard for me to forget playing for Mike Krzyzewski and winning a national championship. Duke forever indeed.
