Video: The core beliefs of the Duke Blue Devils

Duke basketball is a regular of the Sweet 16 and is no stranger when it comes to praise and championships. Recently, their videos have been making people view their program in a different light.

As many of us know or may not know, coaches arrange X’s and O’s to make up plays in a strategic way. This is how most coaches teach the fundamentals and new plays to players. However, this new video posted by Duke is not about that.

Titled, “X’s and O’s” is about the program’s basic learning’s and beliefs by their very own Coach Krzyzewski or otherwise known as Coach K.

Coach K is not short on experience as he has led the Blue Devils to 5 NCAA championships, 12 Final Fours, and not to mention his Olympic coaching side job which he led to two Gold medals in 2008 and 2012.

The Blue Devils have more titles than any other NCAA basketball program within the last 25 years or so.

The five-minute video showcases past and present greats of this program and is worth a view because when it comes down to it, the passion involved is why we watch sports. It highlights that passion, family, pride, respect, and courage are some of the reasons why Duke has become the basketball powerhouse it is today.
