In football, the quarterbacks, running backs and wide receivers are often considered the “skill position players” on offense while the big men are considered “the hogs.”
However, don’t let those positional nicknames fool you, because sometimes those linemen are far more athletic than you would assume.
Ohio State Buckeyes offensive lineman Jamarco Jones, who stands 6-foot-5 and weighs 310-pounds, is a prime example of why you should never judge a book by the cover.
Buckeyes quarterback Stephen Collier took to social media to share a video of Jones on the basketball court and — much to our surprise — he was able to elevate for a thunderous slam dunk.

For a man that size to get his body off the ground speaks volumes on his explosiveness, so maybe it’s time to drop the “skill position” and “hogs” tags.
