Video: Boy honors Ray Lewis with ‘squirrel’ dance

Former NFL Linebacker Ray Lewis may be retired from the game, but his fame is strong among even the youngest of football fans.

Little Logan is a big Lewis fan and decided to pay tribute to the star Ravens player by performing the NFLer’s signature “squirrel” dance at his summer camp.

Becht, a former NFL player, ESPN analyst and founder of the Anthony Becht Football camp Logan attended, tweeted a video of the young boy sliding to the left and the right Monday.

According to USA Today, Lewis performed the dance for 17 years to pump fans at the M&T Bank Stadium up before games. Lewis told news reporters that he learned the dance from a man in his hometown in the hopes of performing it again one day. When he finally did it, Lewis said “the crowd went crazy.”

So far, the video has gotten a lot of media attention and has been featured by a number of news outlets. So far, there’s no word on whether Ray Lewis has seen or responded to the video.
