Tennessee and Nike aren’t the only kids on the block with new jerseys on the way. In a new partnership, adidas will be providing the Arizona State Sun Devils with their 2015-2016 season football jerseys.
With the Fourth of July only two days away, it is fitting of Arizona State and adidas to pay homage to fallen hero and former Sun Devil linebacker, Pat Tillman.

The jerseys, which sport a desert camouflage background, pay tribute to the Arizona alum as the back nameplates bear the flash of his name and number. Also, the left chest patches bear his initials and number.
As the season rolls along, we can all hope to see the Sun Devils play with the hero’s spirit.
After completing the 2001 season with the Cardinals, Tillman turned down a three year contract in order to enlist in the US Army. Assigned to the 2nd Ranger Battalion, he initially deployed to Iraq, and upon his return, he attended and graduated Ranger school on November 28, 2003.
He then redeployed to Afghanistan, where he was killed in a friendly fire accident in 2004.
