One Buckeye not impressed with Wolverines move to Nike

There are rivalries and there is Michigan – Ohio State; a matchup that is talked about year-round from fans who hate one another.

Yesterday afternoon, the University of Michigan announced that in 2016 the school will be returning to Nike as its official uniform supplier for all men’s and women’s sports. The Wolverines had previously been with adidas.

If you’re a Buckeye, no news is good news when it comes to Michigan.

Current Ohio State linebacker Darron Lee took to Twitter to share how he felt about the Wolverines recent apparel change.

Lee then responded to some of the comments he received about his playful tweets.

The sophmore linebacker started all 15 games as a redshirt freshman last season and was named a freshmen All-American by USA Today, Athlon’s, Phil Steele and Scout.com.

The Buckeyes are bursting with confidence after their amazing run last year and this will certainly not be the last comment about an opponent we will see from them.

This year’s game will be one of the most anticipated in a long time with the Jim Harbaugh era beginning in Ann Harbor. Big Blue nation will surely use Lee’s comments as bulletin board material for this upcoming season.
