The rumors are true: Patriots’ Tight End Rob Gronkowski is trading in his hyped-up, tail-gating party bus for a wild-and-crazy party cruise boat.
“Gronk” Gronkowski made it official with an amped-up July 7 Youtube video awash with the sounds blaring party horns and images of crowds of people drinking and dancing in bikinis and swim trunks.
“Yo. The whole Gronkowski family is inviting you to get hype with us next year on our very own party cruise.” The video showed the massive Norwegian Pearl cruise boat with “Gronk’s Party Ship” photo-shopped on the front.
He continued “We’re going to park the Gronk Bus for a little bit and swap it out for a big ass cruise ship.”
The Gronk Party Ship will take 2,500 of his “most hype’d up fans” in mid February to a private island in the Bahamas for three days where “everyone can come hang out with family, listen to music, play some games and get Gronk.”
Yes, he actually said “get Gronk.”
Gronkowski famously hails from a large family of five boys – three of whom are professional NFL players. The rowdy brood is led by dad Gordan Gronkowski who according to ThePostGame.com began their football training at age 4 by lining them up and throwing tennis balls at them to teach them not to be scared of the ball.
Crazy? This family has crazy on lock.
“Inside the NFL” famously documented the family driving the Gronk Bus to Baltimore to tailgate a Ravens- Patriots game. There were plenty of drunken cheering, beer can smashing and ridiculous dance moves.
“We live every day to the fullest. That’s my motto; that’s what I taught my kids,” the proud pop told the league.
The Gronk party cruise promises to live up to that motto with a musical line-up that includes DJs performing on six stages and a performance by Waka Flocka Fame.
