Praised be the TV gods, “Workaholics” is sticking around until 2017!!
OK, now that I’m done doing my happy dance, let’s get to the heart of the news. One of the funniest shows on television will be around for at least two more years. In a post by Chris Illuminati of Bro Bible, it was reported that Comedy Central picked up the program for two more seasons.
Brian Steinberg of Variety added that the new season of the show will begin in January, with each season getting ten episodes. To which I say, “Damn you, Comedy Central, give them more per season!”
OK, OK. No more fan-boy mode. I’m cool!
But seriously, this is great news if you’re a fan of the show, which stars Blake Anderson, Anders Holm and Adam Devine as three friends that work, live and have fun together. Of course, more often than not, the fun prevents them from doing their corporate cubicle jobs. Who can’t relate to that?
It’s great for the network, which also renewed fan-favorite “South Park” for three more seasons, and great for fans who can’t get enough of the hijinks of Adam, Blake and Ders.
Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to go to the garage and try working on the time machine some more so that I can fast forward to January.
