One of the biggest questions in college football centers around the Ohio State Buckeyes starting quarterback job. Braxton Miller returned, J.T. Barrett is healthy and Cardale Jones decided to forgo the NFL Draft, so who will start the season under center?
Well, according to one report, the expectation around the Big 10 conference is that the Buckeyes will roll with Cardale Jones for the season-opener.
ESPN’s Adam Rittenberg shared the news.
Been offline most of afternoon but re: Braxton Miller, his loyalty shouldn't be forgotten by Buckeye fans no matter how this turns out (1/2)

(2/2) Every coach I talked to this offseason expected him to leave for playing time guarantee. Expectation in B1G is Jones will start opener

That isn’t entirely surprising.
Jones had an incredible run last season in the Big 10 championship and College Football Playoffs, as he led Ohio State to a national championship. Jones is also the best NFL prospect the Buckeyes have at the position, so you would have to believe he gives them the best chance to win.
Who would you want to start under center, Buckeyes fans? Sound off in the comments section below.
