The 2015 Davey O’Brien watch list for best QB

In a conglomerate of pre-season college football nominations being handed out, the Davey O’Brien Award features the smallest list of qualifiers, including a solo slot on Ohio State’s 3-quarterback depth chart (Cardale Jones).

The quarterbacks on the 2015 pre-season list include two finalists from 2014 (Dak Prescott and Trevone Boykin) and seven others, whose named appeared on the 2014 list, but weren’t finalists (Michigan State’s Connor Cook, Cal’s Jared Goff, BYU’s Taysom Hill, Southern Cal’s Cody Kessler, Stanford’s Kevin Hogan, Penn State’s Christian Hackenberg and Navy’s Keenan Reynolds).
