Ever come close to breaking a record, then sadly fallen short? Carmelo Anthony sure a heck has.
But we aren’t talking about hoops here.
The Knicks’ forward set out to break something quite grand at this year’s Nickelodeon Kid’s Choice Awards–the record for the most high-fives.

We have to admit, that’s a pretty awesome record to hold. High-fives are fantastic.
Unfortunately, Melo fell short of breaking the record. How short, you ask? A measely ten high-fives too few.
