The college football season officially kicks off on September 3, the Thursday before the first Saturday in the month. Usually, that day only holds one or two games for fans to nibble on before the big day. September 5 is the day that most fans will get to see their teams hit the field for another great season of football.
After watching this new Georgia hype video for the opening day of the season, I don’t think anyone is more excited than the Bulldogs.
Georgia had a somewhat disappointing season in 2014. The team lost Todd Gurley midway through the season, but luckily they found another superstar in Nick Chubb. The team lost to all three of their rivals (South Carolina, Florida, and Georgia Tech) for the firt time since 2000. The team was also picked to win the SEC East, but thanks to a tiebreaker, the title went to Missouri for the second year in a row.
Despite all of that, the Bulldogs turned their season into another ten-win season, the ninth under Mark Richt. The team also defeated Louisville in the Belk Bowl 37-14.
This year, they plan on things being a whole lot different.
The start of the college football season is just fifty days away. I am more than ready. Are you?
