Florida recruit reassures fans with “Gator Chomp” photo

As a top-notch high school athlete, you have a lot of commitments during your senior year. A big part of those commitments is taking official visits to colleges periodically throughout the year.

Florida commit Chauncey Gardner has announced a handful of official visits for his senior year and that has put some doubt on his commitment to the Gators in the eyes of fans. He says otherwise.

College Spun shared a photo of the four-star cornerback doing the famed “Gator Chomp” just to make Florida fans feel a whole lot better about his decision.

I can hear Gator fans all taking a collective sigh of relief. While nothing is completely official until Gardner signs his letter of intent next April, this has to make Florida fans feel so much better.

Among his official visits are three games that any college football fan would kill to attend. Gardner takes a trip to the Notre Dame/USC game, LSU/Alabama game, and of course, the Florida/Florida State game.

Now that is a lineup to make any college football fan’s heart melt.
