Ermon Lane using dropped TD pass as motivation

Last season, the Florida State Seminoles just barely made it past the Miami Hurricanes 30-26. In the third quarter of that November game, wide receiver Ermon Lane dropped a touchdown pass that would have given his team the lead. He is now using that drop as motivation for the 2015 season.

According to College Spun, Lane has been watching that film at many points over the summer. He keeps thinking about what he did wrong and what he can do to fix his mistake. He is looking to make amends for the dropped touchdown this season.

Lane has set a pretty lofty goal of ten or more touchdowns this season and using a dropped pass as motivation is a good way to try and achieve that goal. I wish the best for the young man and hope that he can do whatever he has set out to do.

The Seminoles open the 2015 season at home against Texas State on September 5.
