No timetable for ACC Network

With the success of the SEC Network, Longhorn Network, Big 10 and Pac-12 Networks, it has to be believed that the ACC will one day follow suit. However, there is currently no timetable for a conference network like a majority of the other Power 5 conferences.

According to College Football Talk, ACC commissioner John Swofford was asked about the possibility of a network during the conference’s media days and college kickoff.

After first being presented with the question a year ago, there remains no firm timetable set.

If a network is to come along anytime soon, it is believed that 2017 would be the target date. There is also a belief that ESPN would be somehow involved thanks to their growing relationship with the conference.

But will anything ever come to fruition? Only time will tell.

For now, we just have to wait to see whether Swofford provides an update next year.
