We all know that Alabama is one of the best football programs and have ruled the first half of this decade when it comes to winning national championships. That is mostly thanks in part to Nick Saban’s arrival in 2007. But, I don’t think anybody realized just how good Saban is.
SEC Network tweeted out the most interesting statistic of the day. I don’t think it will come as shock to many people, but it is certainly an impressive one.
Since Nick Saban arrived in 2007, Alabama has never gone 3 straight years without a national title. #TBT pic.twitter.com/ZFzesVaz3g

The Crimson Tide were so close to winning the national championship last year as they made it to the first College Football Playoff in January. They were demolished by eventual national champion Ohio State and their chances to continue the streak were crushed.
2015 marks the third year since the Tide last won the title with the BCS championship win over Notre Dame in 2012, so that means Saban has a lot of work to do this season.
The Crimson Tide open the 2015 season at AT&T Stadium when they face Wisconsin on September 5.
