Video: 400-pound Baylor TE does pull-ups better than you

When I was in high school and playing football, I was about seventy pounds lighter than I am now. Even then, it was damn near impossible for me to do pull-ups. Never in my life would I think I be able to pull-ups at over 400 pounds, but Baylor’s tight end phenom can certainly do them.

The Dallas Morning News shared a video of LaQuan McGowan at a team workout with the Bears. He did the unthinkable by grabbing onto a bar and performing three pull-ups. It was pretty impressive and I would personally challenge any of you to do better.

McGowan burst onto the college football scene when he caught a pass and scampered fifteen yards into the endzone against Michigan State in the Cotton Bowl earlier this year. He has now claimed to be slimmed down some and wants to be a big part of the high-octane Baylor offense this season.

The Bears open the season at home when they host the SMU Mustangs on September 5.
